Ariane — clinical information access
A clinical information-access layer, in the EHR context.
Ariane is designed to retrieve, cite and present patient-record information under clinician supervision.
The information already exists — it is simply fragmented.
The EHR structures the chart, but useful information also lives in other systems, including the emergency department, RIS, laboratory, pharmacy and cardiology — and it may be incomplete or hard to find.
Ariane starts from that observation: presenting clinical information retrieved from authorized sources when the professional needs it.
